IKEA wanted a stand where innovation and sustainability would be at the core. The design of the trade fair stand needed to combine inviting environments with a playful theme. For IKEA, it was important to leave their mark on the stand: that they are the place where people meet.
We developed a trade fair stand consisting of many small environments designed to function as conversation areas between visitors and IKEA’s employees. In this way, we created a universe that visitors could explore. At the same time, the stand encouraged visitors to engage in dialogue with one another.
